Role:                ABM Marketing Lead – Financial Services
Location:
          London or Home Based (just need to get into London once a month)
Salary:             £50,000 - £65,000, based on experience

People are bombarded with marketing messages all the time. How do you make your message the one that cuts through and sticks?

What if you're already the biggest player in a market where everyone's already your customer, but you recognise they're changing? With a new generation coming through. How do you ensure your marketing programme is relevant and engaging to that next generation of C-suite, their key leadership and influencer networks?

That's the challenge here.

The current ABM strategy could benefit from a review, recognising the next generation of C-Suite leaders are digitally savvy and connected. So what’s worked before, like events, may not work for the future. Instead a more digitally connected programme may engage more effectively.

But it’s your call to decide what the best channels and strategies will be in order to raise awareness of the portfolio of services solutions on offer. Delivering growth in customer value and NPS scores whilst also re-energising the customer base. Recognising the different audience types, talking the customer’s language – be them CMO, CEO, CTO or CIO.

The services you’ll be marketing vary from large-scale IT infrastructure and security solutions to unified communications platforms and full comms platforms which meet the needs of big UK retail banks when providing their services to customers. Sometimes it’s a connected solution pulling from multiple solutions. Target clients are all the major UK retail banks, but they’re all current customers, as the firm already has 100% market penetration. So it’s fair to say the firm you’ll be joining is the ‘market leader’.

In support, you will have a delivery team who will execute the various campaigns, events and marketing strategy you’ve devised. Your report line will be to the Head of Financial Services Marketing, and will be part of a team of 5 total. Each specialising in their own financial services vertical such as insurance, retail banking, wealth management, etc.

Experience Necessary:

  • Specific experience in overseeing an Account Based Marketing programme
  • Experience employing ABM strategies to financial services organisations
  • Previous experience working for a FinTech, Telco, Technology or Financial Services organisation
  • Able to demonstrate the ability to devise effective marketing strategies targeting exec leadership levels within big firms
  • Good knowledge of a breadth of marketing channels and techniques, including CRM tools like Salesforce and Marketing Automation tools
