One of the fastest-growing agencies is looking for an Account Director to look after their Digital Projects. This role will be the main point of contact between the client(s) and the teams, they really need someone who can get under the skin of clients needs and make sure those projects are delivered.

As Account Director – Digital Projects you will join our successful  Account Management team based in their London offices and be responsible for:

 

Client Partnership

  • Build strong, trusting relationships with key stakeholders, operating as a strategic advisor and support to the Client Partner
  • Ensure the Client Partner understands agreed workflows and manage them through the delivery process – showing flexibility where tenable and constructively challenging out of scope requests, providing practical advice to achieve a solution
  • Act as a Brand Guardian, immersing yourself in all product developments and be able to advise on industry and technology trends and developments
  • Clearly communicate and support the Creative Team with the Client’s brief, ensuring the Client Partner’s voice is not lost, but the creative boundaries are still pushed

Operational/ Strategic

  • Management of Client expectations and delivery (with a focus on strategy, execution and overseeing delivery with the project management team)
  • Working closely with Project Management and the Account Manager to deliver against agreed Client / Agency strategies, proposals and briefs
  • Adherence to clear, accurate documentation, following agreed delivery processes
  • Demonstrate a clear working knowledge of the agreed Scope of Work (SOW) and the status of projects
  • Actively seek to be at the forefront of all brand and technology developments
  • Working with and understanding the creative process: UX and design– managing expectations and time pressures
  • Working with the Account Director to ensure the smooth running of the deliverables and ensure that we are one step ahead of our clients
  • Ensure the Client Partner are aware of any out of scope work, working with project management/production to provide an associated estimation of work/time/costs

The ideal candidate will be an Account Manager or Senior Account Manager looking to take the step up into a leadership position and has demonstrable knowledge working with clients to get their technical projects achieved.

The Account Director – Digital Projects role requires the following experience: 

  • Experienced Account handler who is looking to step up to Account Director level, working across the full range of digital services
  • Working knowledge of interaction design, user-centered experience design, brand development, digital marketing, and the creative process
  • Strong awareness and interest in new platforms and technologies for the digital channels
  • Automotive experience strongly preferred, especially luxury automotive but not mandatory for the right candidate
  • Strong ability to prioritize work and resources across engagements based on short and long-term needs
  • Excellent presentation skills and communication abilities at all levels of both internal and client organizations
  • Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills
  • Experience of working closely with project managers, technical and strategy teams
  • Experience managing junior team members 
  • Excellent and natural team player
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must
