Account Director- Pharmaceutical Industry Kent/East Sussex Overview: If you are wanting to progress your career and feel you are more suited to a senior level position, then this opportunity might be for you! The main purpose of this role is leading the delivery of effective, innovative and profitable service on client accounts and programmes. The Account Director in partnership with the Account Manager, will make sure all programmes with clients are delivered to the highest standard and new opportunities are identified to grow the client’s health business. As the Account Director, you will own and continue to build upon existing client relationships, as well as identifying new client accounts with key decision makers and generating new business within target organisations, typically being Pharmaceutical Companies. This opportunity needs someone who has experience in b2b sales, opportunity sourcing, identifying leads, sales process, meeting and presentation management (with some potential of overseas travel), negotiation, proposal preparation and deal closing. Pharma Sector and Medical Communication/Education experience would be a huge advantage. This opportunity will suit someone with previous sales experience and is looking for a new challenge that will improve their skills.
