Role: Acquisition Marketing Manager (Offline Direct Response)
Location
: Andover, Hampshire – with remote working too - will typically be 2-3 days in office/remote when allowed.
Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 (based on experience)

This plucky scale up organisation (around 80-100 people), is looking for someone with experience in handling offline direct response marketing to help drive a number of their key channels, including direct mail, inserts, press, door drops and you'll also get involved in some DRTV.

You will be responsible for performance and optimisation of the channels you oversee, with budgetary and agency responsibility, ensuring each campaign is effectively delivered and measured to ensure ROI and CPA objectives delivered.

The company’s in a really good spot, and the programme is driving the right levels of returns. But there’s always room for improvement, particularly with opportunities to scale, and this will become your baby.

You’ll be working into the Head of Acquisition, and in a team made up of both digital and offline marketing specialists. There will also be support in team in the form of marketing execs, who can help with operational execution. With you providing the subject matter expertise, as well as ensuring the creative and media plan is on point. Hitting and resonating with target audiences, and delivering the right results. So you'll be putting in place the proper checks and balances to ensure campaigns land successfully, with connected journeys and leads are properly tracked.

Your role will also be handling both media and creative agencies. With the latter, you’ll be able to put your creative juices to work in both briefing, brainstorming and critiquing their work.

So although this role does require a heavy lean towards analytical rigour to ensure performance and optimisation, you’ll find you’ll be using both left and right sides of your brain with this one. Especially with some new creative elements in the pipeline

Key Experience Necessary

  • Solid direct marketing/direct response marketing credentials with knowledge of the relevant channels outlined above
  • Good analytical skills. Able to evidence use of data to inform targeting and media strategies
  • Results focused. With an astute focus on measurement and optimisation of campaigns
  • Experienced in budgetary and agency management – particularly working with media and creative agencies
  • Any experience in subscriptions based, or regulated industry businesses a real plus

Must be able to live and work in the UK unrestricted.
