Analytics Director

** Major UK Retail Clients **

CLIENT

A global marketing analytics consultancy, specializing in loyalty and customer behavior is hiring for an Analytics Director to head up their UK analytics team. This is an amazing opportunity to work in partnership with two of the UK’s largest grocery retailers, delivering insights and recommendations around campaigns and customer behavior.

The consultancy works with two of the UK's largest grocery retailers and in turn their FMCG suppliers, delivering customer insights, loyalty consulting and multi-channel marketing.

Fundamentally, we are seeking a high performing, hands on analytics manager with programming skills in SAS and SQL, with a desire to lead a team and operate a senior, strategic level.

You will be managing a team of Analysts whilst also work closely with the Commercial Directors who look after the retail accounts, to ensure the analytical projects are delivered successfully ongoing.

You are also the main POC for all UK analytics, setting the direction for the UK business, as well as being part of the global analytics team; so will be expected to work with other country leaders on developing best practice and global capabilities; leveraging these where you can.

From a technical perspective, you are expected to understand modern data and analytics but it's unlikely you will be hands on very often. They predominantly use SAS Base for statistical marketing analytics but are also currently on boarding open source tech like R and Python.

So, if you have a background in management and keen to work in a client facing capacity, this role would be a great next step.
