Based in the Berlin office in Germany, you will take responsibility for leading the growth and development of the analytics offering for this innovative, creative, digital agency. Liaising with key clients within luxury FMCG, luxury retail and automotive industries you will work to deliver impactful and innovative analytical services, products and tools.

You will lead a team in providing strategic insights around digital campaign performance, answering broad business questions using deep dive statistical analytical techniques, as well as measuring digital marketing effectiveness, customer behaviour and engagement.

You should have experience in managing analytical teams, as well as strong hands on skills in statistical analysis, ideally digital analytics and the ability to tell a story around data and take a solutions focused approach using insights and analysis.

Data science and machine learning techniques will also be employed (depending on project) so any advanced modelling, analytics or data science experience would be viewed favourably.

Technically they operate an agnostic environment, allowing Analysts to use whichever tools they see fit for the task in hand; typically R, python, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, SQL, Adobe Tag Manager and GTM.

Salary:                                65k - 75k euros plus excellent benefits & relocation costs covered


Experience and Skillset required

  • Educated to degree level in a numerate subject
  • Background in statistical analysis, including evaluating multichannel campaign performance, deep dive customer insight and ideally knowledge of machine learning techniques
  • Technically skilled using SQL plus R or Python
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to bring insights to life
  • Experience in scoping and building data tools, products and services
  • Experience of working within a data intensive organization or marketing agency
  • Technical skills using a variety of analytical tools such as SQL, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Adobe Tag Manager, R or Python (examples, not limited to)
  • Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills
