Job Title:             B2B Marketing Manager
Location:             Central London (home based for the next few months at least)
Salary:                 £50,000 - £55,000
Benefits:             10-20% bonus paid as share options

You’ll be joining a five year old scale-up within the mar-tech SaaS industry. Reporting to the CMO, owning and executing a multi-channel B2B marketing programme which is principally demand generation focused. But with some content creation, events, social media to it too.

Your remit will be on the execution side of things. Organising and pulling together campaigns, overseeing performance aspects of the programme and ensuring the right results are being achieved.

You’ll be using Hubspot, so having some experience of this will be highly beneficial, and because this is a scale-up, your role’s going to have a lot of breadth to it. So if you’ve had previous experience of this kind of environment, it’s going to be a real plus – as you’ll really understand not just what to expect. But have likely had a similar broad exposure to different marketing disciplines, which will stand you in great stead to succeed here.

Your remit will include:

  • End to end campaign management, helping them introduce an ABM style approach targeting a wide range of business types including both end brand owners as well as media agencies
  • Experiment and put in place a test and learn approach to different marketing channels – looking at both paid and non-paid media, event management, PR, content and social media
  • Website management. Overseeing copy creation and upload for new product and sales pages
  • Responsible for the marketing toolkit to support the sales teams – including collateral, slide decks and other materials
  • Management of the marketing budget
  • Performance review of campaigns, looking at campaign data and being able to draw meaningful insights to help educate and enhance future actions
  • Oversee marketing and PR agency partners

ABOUT THE BUSINESS

The firm targets both end brand owners and media agencies to provide a marketing tech solution for digital media. It’s a data platform which provides insights to end businesses on the performance of their content marketing platforms.

They have a broad and varied client base including some very high profile brands and some of the big media networks too. But they’re in a growth phase and this is why the marketing engine is so important to them.

You’ll be helping to build recognition for their brand and service offering. Translating that into marketing leads for the sales teams to engage on.

Their 2021 pipeline looks good right now. But with your help they’re looking to step-change that significantly.

Whilst they will be looking to implement a fully-blown ABM approach to their marketing soon, the current and immediate interest is in optimising the funnel from any marketing channel.

Key Experience Necessary

  • B2B marketer who’s ideally had experience in start-up/scale up businesses before
  • Ideally have experience in a SaaS firm, so understand the kind of marketing tactics they employ
  • Good broad marketing pedigree cutting across a range of disciplines – including content creation, performance marketing, events, etc.
  • Experience with Hubspot will be a plus
  • Got to have a growth hacking mentality – lots of experimentation. Close eye on performance, and great problem solving skills
  • Data centric decision maker, good knowledge of digging into campaign performance and how to use that insight to help drive improved results
