Brand & Communications Executive
Location
– London office three times a week

Salary - £30,000 to £35,000 base salary plus bonus and benefits

See your campaigns on the global stage! Reaching millions of people across 9 countries and 3 continents working for a company which is still small enough for you to know everyone’s name and share coffee with the CEO on any day you’re in the office.

Yes this is a global role within a very local environment. A gaming company which is something of an anti-corporate. Creative, innovative, refreshing.

Their brand image is one of being the plucky challenger and it’s seen them well so far. Going from start-up launching in one country some five years ago to having a presence in nine now. Broadening their product portfolio to embrace a broader market appeal to customers, and are pushing to potentially launch in a tenth country by early next year as they look to crack the USA.

Yet amidst this success, they’ve kept their ‘small and agile’ working style. Punching above their weight on the scale of campaigns and brand presence in market.

Chances are you’ve seen their adverts before and will be familiar with what they offer. Having experienced a TV advert or seen something across social media or online display advertising before.

With this opportunity, that’s what you’ll be looking to take over too. Responsible for shaping the creative, copy, content, testing and deployment of their brand and acquisition marketing campaigns.

Working from a 12 month calendar and a 3 month rolling campaign schedule. You’ll be responsible for pulling campaigns together and executing.

Briefing creative teams, working with external agencies, handling the project management and resource allocation for campaigns. Running A/B testing, looking at campaign performance data to understand where and how to make tweaks which will have a measurable impact, the works.

Principally, the channel focus is digital, so social media, display, YouTube, etc. But there’s also opportunity to extend into more traditional ATL channels too and get the opportunity to work on some TV adverts too.

You’re not doing this alone, you will have the support of a peer alongside who typically handles CRM. But will support on campaign pieces as and when needed.

Similarly, you will be given the opportunity to learn some CRM campaign work too for you own professional development purposes and to help you keep things fresh and interesting.

This is the kind of opportunity where there’s clear learning and development potential, you won’t feel like a number within a big corporate beast because the business is so personable. Yet be able to deliver some really high profile campaign work, playing with big budgets and get experience of multi-national marketing to boot.

It’s a really fantastic opportunity if you’re passionate about developing your career within the brand and comms arena.

Key experience

  • You’ve got some brand and comms experience under your belt before, handling the creation and execution of campaigns
  • Have experience of the creative process, from briefing, critiquing and testing
  • Love a fast paced environment with lots of opportunities to do exciting campaigns
  • Have experience of executing campaigns across digital channels
  • Good knowledge on campaign measurement, how to tweak and improve campaigns from that
  • Love the opportunity to take on a role which will give you exposure to other things outside of just brand and comms too
