Business Development Executive – Legal


This top 200 law firm were founded over 250 years ago and are searching for an experienced Business Development Executive to join their team. This firm are highly regarded for the quality of their work and they are based in a beautiful central London location.


This position will be supporting the firm’s Head of Business Development to push the firm’s Business Development and Marketing techniques. The duties of this role include, but are not limited to:

Marketing and Events:

  • Planning and maintaining the firm’s annual calendar
  • Organising seminars and roundtables for the partners and other people within the firm
  • Tracking of marketing expenses and looking after the firm’s marketing budget
  • Generating and updating marketing collateral for the firm

Business Development:

  • Providing support to the Head of Business Development on pitches, panel reviews and presentations
  • Conducting strategic research in relation to business development on behalf of departments within the firm, as well as conducting further research on target companies


  • Providing support with updating the firm’s website
  • Maintenance of the firm’s social media presence
  • Coordinating and sending mailshots


The required experience and qualifications for this role are as follows:

  • Experience within a Business Development capacity within a law firm or other professional service
  • Exceptional skills with using computer software, primarily the Microsoft Office package
  • Holds a recognised qualification, whether it be in marketing or something similar – this may include: a university degree, a diploma or a certificate


Salary: up to £35,000
