Your mission, should you accept, is to establish and maintain a data management framework and drive the delivery of high quality data analytics and reporting throughout the company. You''ll lead and manage a small team of Data Engineers / BI Developers.

You'll be:

• A Team Player - Support the development and execution of the data strategy 
• The Big Boss - Deputising for the head of the division when required.
• A Strategist - Take a strategic view of all data engineering & reporting requirements 
• The Master Chief - Lead, manage, motivate and coach a small team of Engineers 
• A Solution Finder - lead the infrastructure definition, implementation and development for delivering a company wide infrastructure solution for data. 
• A Creator - Set up and develop data warehouse (including data structures and flows), master data management and Meta data management solutions 
• A Sorcerer with SQL, SSRS, Power BI 
• A Journalist - Real time reporting for Management Information (MI) and Business Intelligence (BI)
• A Visionary - Turning this insight into business decisions

The key to securing this job is: 

• Proven leadership qualities, able to design complex data and BI solutions with experience setting up a data warehouse solution and implementing BI platforms (ideally Power BI).
• Experience designing and building data flows and data models... creating tables, views, stored procedures, indexing and ETL processes
• Experience building self-serve reporting solutions with Power BI and SSRS and advanced Excel, with VBA, for automated reporting solutions
