Role: Senior Associate

Location: London (7-minute walk from Liverpool Street Underground)

Salary: £80,000 - £120,000 (DOE) + discretionary annual bonus

PQE: 10+ years

Qualifications: Solicitor or CILEX admitted to practice in England & Wales

The firm

This forward-thinking law firm with offices in the UK & Spain are currently going through an exciting period of growth and are looking for an experienced Senior Associate to join their Commercial Property team.

They have been providing solid legal advice for over 200 years and they have been regularly recognised in the Legal 500 & Chambers and Partners directories. This role offers a great opportunity for advancement within the firm, and they are looking for candidates that have a genuine desire to grow and develop the team further.

They act for a number of regional house builders in site acquisition, RSL sales, joint ventures, infrastructure agreements and section 106 obligations, and they are attracting more property investment and estate management work.  The Commercial Property team also works closely with the other commercial teams on business sales and acquisitions.

The ideal candidate

• 10+ PQE commercially aware solicitor or legal executive
• Solid background in general commercial property and extensive real estate development experience
• Be able to demonstrate an ability to lead and mentor trainees and associates
• Be a strong business developer, including having the ability to initiate business development and marketing for the team (including delivering seminars and writing articles)
• You must be an effective and proactive communicator and have great client care skills
