Housing Regulations, Corporate and Governance Solicitor – 1-3PQE

Top 100 law firm in Central London are looking to recruit an additional Corporate and Governance Solicitor to their well-established team.  The firm’s central clients within this department are housing organisations and therefore the firm are seeking someone passionate and empathetic.

The central duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

• Being a project manager and advising on restructures and mergers
• Through the regulator of social housing, enrol new registers providers
• Advising clients on: corporate structures, intra group documentation, appropriate application of corporate codes of governance and appropriate application of charity law among other things
• Liaising with other members of staff, clients, boards, governance teams, regulators, the FCA, Companies House, HMRC, Homes England, the Charity Commission and more.
• Staying up to date with industry standards and constitutional changes
• Be involved in business development events and strategies
• Checking and planning internal corporate policies

Due to the PQE range of this role, salary is quite open and dependent on experience**
