NQ Solicitor – Corporate

Salary: £55,000

A top 100 law firm in Central London are looking to recruit Newly Qualified Corporate Solicitor to their well-established team. The successful applicant will gain exposure to a range of specialisations and projects falling under the Corporate Law banner.

Some of the areas of work this individual will find themselves gaining experience in include, but are not limited to:

• Advising clients on corporate structure
  - incorporating development companies
  - reporting on group structures
  - striking off or winding up training subsidiaries as well as striking off registered providers and societies
  - dissolving
• Restructuring and dealing with mergers and acquisitions (M&As) for large institutional entities
• Communicating with registrars and regulators
  - HMRC
  - Homes England
  - Financial Conduct Authority
  - Companies House
  - Regulator of Social Housing
  - Charity Commission
• Commercial joint ventures with house builders
• Advising corporate clients on general corporate issues – usually clients that instruct other departments of the firm (eg. Real Estate)
• Dealing with internal corporate policies, this may be drafting or even reviewing
  - standing orders
  - investment policies
  - schemes of delegation
  - board minutes
  - financial regulations

The firm are looking to take on someone who at minimum completed one seat in Corporate Law during their training contract.
