Role – CRM Campaign Consultant – Inbound / Next Best Action
Location
 – Central London
Salary - £45,000 to £58,000 (dependant on experience)

Is your sweet spot in handling the more strategic view? Business facing, less technically hands on. But with the appreciation of the wider marketing mix and how decisions around things like changes to offer rules impact bottom line results within a next best action rules engine.

You’ll be joining the CRM operations team of a bona fide UK super brand, and firm with possibly one of the biggest CRM operations in the country. Responsible for shaping the thinking behind inbound campaigns.

Working with marketing, trading and propositions stakeholders, translating their business requirements into technical data briefs which teams of logic developers deliver against.

To be effective, you will need to understand how data and decisioning models work, and will be running a number of project at any one time. You will need to be able to demonstrate a degree of maturity within CRM to be able to effectively translate business requirements – pushing back where appropriate ensuring the right approach is taken forward.

In turn, you will brief in the decisioning/campaign selections teams who execute against it and prepare the campaign data ready for deployment into live operating model.

This is a high-volume campaign environment operating at scale. They product around 3m customer interactions a week across multiple channels, with a database of 30+ million UK customers. They take a highly segmented and sophisticated approach to their programme. The overall base comms and CRM decisioning unit is in excess of 80 people.

MORE ABOUT THE TEAM

This CRM ops team is responsible for campaign planning and the data used in the creation of campaign logic and decisioning. The unit covers both in and outbound campaigns, but this specific vacancy will be specialising just within the inbound/next best action part of the programme.

They utilise a range of tools which includes Pega for inbound logic, Unica/IBM Campaign and Adobe Campaign for outbound (these will become rationalised once the data has been brought into a SCV, and on one CRM platform).

You’re not going to be aligned to any one specific product set as the business works in an Agile mentality, which allows them to align people based on project needs and business demands. So you will get a decent amount of variety, as well as broad business exposure – working across all their various consumer product categories.

KEY EXPERIENCE NECESSARY

  • Good knowledge of CRM and CRM market tech
  • Background within marketing automation and/or next best action
  • Able to demonstrate experience beyond campaign decisioning and into the thinking behind campaigns. Helping to shape and steer them. Designing customer journeys and how to translate these into technical data briefs
  • Solid pedigree of experience within database management, and working with large-scale relational databases
  • Good evidence of contact planning with relevant targeting and segmentations, overlaying customer journeys so customer contact plans are correctly applied
  • Having done the above for a consumer facing brand is important – but experience could have been gained either client or agency side
  • Gregarious nature, with solid stakeholder management skills

Able to live and work in the UK without the need for sponsorship
