Role:                CRM Campaign Consultant -  SQL & Unica
Location
:         South West London
Salary:             £28k - £40k
Benefits:          20% bonus, pension & holiday

You’ll be joining a niche data consultancy within their CRM data unit. Their business model is one where they embed Consultants onsite with clients to integrate with their teams, and so you’ll be joining the CRM team of a large-scale gaming and gambling firm whose offices are located in Wimbledon.

Of course, at the moment everything will be home based, until the lockdown and a return to office environments can be done safely.

That said, this is likely to be for around a 12-18 month period and then the opportunity could arise to move to another business in a different sector. The data consultancy’s client roster includes firms from across retail, utilities, financial services sectors and more.

They like to up-skill Consultants so you become agile and able to adapt to different business challenges. So when they land new clients, you’re able to potentially move across and have an immediate positive impact on the programmes of work.

This role is being hired as a development opportunity. Hence the salary is positioned at this level.

Alongside the management of campaign process, you will review and challenge campaign briefs for accuracy, robustness and alignment with contact strategies. Build, QA and execute campaigns using Unica, as well as provide recommendations and insights for improvement in process or new ideas for campaigns which could drive incremental performance.

And you won’t be struck it the back office, you will be involved in client meetings that are related to CRM campaign planning.

There’s a few things they’d ideally want you to be able to demonstrate in order to be a good fit for this opportunity. These include:

  • Knowledge of working with a campaign management tool, such as Salesforce, Chordiant, Faststats or (and ideally) Unica – using it to pull together campaign data and its execution
  • Knowledge of SQL. To interrogate, pull and join together data from multiple data sources. You've got to have a really solid knowledge of SQL coding as the volume of data is huge, coming from various data tables with different keys.
  • Comfortable with large-scale data – we’re talking millions of lines. Ensuring the data you’re drawing from multiple tables joins together correctly (sometimes different tables with different keys needing different joins) and are doing the appropriate quality checks to make sure there’s no mistakes
  • Comfortable working in busy environments with changing priorities. Similar to working in Agile, and able to adapt and prioritise things effectively. Whilst also keeping your internal marketing and CRM customers engaged and onboard with any changes.
  • You love what you do and really want to grow your career in this area. Demonstrating a real passion and enthusiasm for learning and professional development

What you can expect of the business and this role:

To be Appreciated - One of the key selling points of this opportunity is the people; the Directors (who we've known for +10 years) – they are fun, young, sociably switched on data experts. They have strong networks across the data industry, meaning there is a steady flow of varied and cutting-edge data connected projects to work on.

Stability - YoY this firm has seen 90% growth, and in order for them to take the business to the next level they are looking to bolster their teams, with on-site data experts for their big brand clients.

Work life balance - is very important, many have young families and the Directors recognise this. They’re a close knit, small organisation and often socialise together too.

You won’t be bored – This is a high volume campaign environment, and you’ll be handling between 3-5 campaigns a day, which will be a mix of creation and automated. Helping to really polish up your skills in SQL and Unica.

Please note – You must be able to live and work in the UK unrestricted.
