So you’re looking for a career in marketing. Something within a decent sized team, a business which is good to its people and an environment that’s nurturing and will give you lots of headroom, support and opportunities to learn, grow and develop.

One with inspirational leadership. People who have credible backgrounds themselves. Who know what good looks like and can impart that knowledge in a supportive way which will help you become a really good marketer in your own right.

Well, you’ve just found your nirvana.

What this business is exceptional at is recognising and developing talent. So with a bit of CRM experience already under your belt, they want to be the ones who nurture your ambition and help you realise your potential.

You’ll be reporting to the head of database marketing, someone who’s an inspirational female leader, in a business where most of the wider marketing team is also made up of some incredible talent who also happen to principally be female too.

Your role will be supporting the company’s journey in creating a more sophisticated, targeted and personalised CRM programme with automation at its core. These campaigns will be multi-channels and include direct mail, outbound telephony, email and SMS. Driving customer lead and nurture programmes for acquisition, as well as cross and upsell campaigns to grow customer lifetime value.

You will work with the database marketing team on shaping and creating the data brief, ensuring target audience is clear and well defined. Plus brief in the creative and content teams on what you need for each campaign.

You will essentially be campaign managing, pulling everything together. But also responsible for testing – looking at creative, copy, testing new channels to see how they perform, etc.

A lot you’ll be working on will be new for the business. They’ve implemented a new CRM system which is enabling and supporting all this. There’s so much opportunity to add value to the CRM programme through re-thinking customer journeys which result in improved experiences for customers and enhancements to bottom line revenue too.

This really is a great learning opportunity as well as one which will give you some impressive and valuable experience to take you forward in your career.

Something they absolutely personify is that of being a business with strong family values, and in recent years have provided numerous examples which back this up and make them a fantastic place to be part of.
