First thing to clarify before going into the details of what’s on offer here is the working arrangements.

But it’s important to also recognise, this is very much a role with a lot of training and development opportunities ahead of it, so it’s likely for a period you will be required to attend the office to get training up to a level where you’re confident of being able to tackle tasks at home.

So what about the role?

What you’ve landed on is a decent job with prospects, a ton of training and learning opportunity and a firm with a brilliant pedigree, who’s looking for someone with the right attitude and keen-ness to learn, and who wants grow a career in CRM and customer marketing.

You’ll become part of a team who handle the strategy and execution of a sophisticated customer marketing programme which covers multiple international territories. Your remit will include helping to design and deliver these campaigns via email marketing.

Leveraging an understanding of customer behaviour through data insight, transforming it into targeted loyalty and retention activity. One which helps drive the trading calendar as well as build on marketing automation capabilities and trigger-based communications, enhancing customer engagement and driving repeat purchase.

The business operates in more than a hundred countries, so the email programme is a big deal, driving substantial revenue.

You’ll be working on projects end-to-end with in-house design, content, customer experience and retention marketing functions to deliver a high standard email programme.

If you’re looking to hone your career in direct marketing, you will get real benefit becoming a part of their family. The scale and sophistication of their programme will give you what you expect of a big London firm, but without the down sides of the commute time or cost.

The Company

It’s very much a family environment with a very diverse team. They’ve been around a long time too, originating from a high-street operation who made the move to digital pure play quite some time ago.
