CRM Marketing Manager
Working set up: 8 days a month in office via booking rota
Office location: Central London, on the Thames
Salary: Up to circa £45,000 plus benefits.

If you’re after something where you literally own the end to end of campaigns. Not just the data brief or the operational campaign execution, you’ve found it.

What you’ll be working on are two very different businesses. One in hospitality and leisure, the other in automotive. Both giants of their industries.

Your remit will be to work with each, understand their business objectives and translate them into working briefs you’ll be delivering to. You won’t be working alone, there’s a couple more junior members of the team helping with delivery, and you’ll be reporting to an experienced Account Director.

You’ll be working with two of the biggest CRM platforms, Adobe and Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Scoping out campaign selections and audience segmentation, as well as defining the customer journeys and handling campaign execution too.

You don’t need to be an SME in both, but will need to have some knowledge of them to be able to add value straight away to the team.

It’s worth noting, the team currently bias more to the CRM delivery side experience wise. Their ‘gap’ is more in the data piece. So if your experience biases this way, that would be ideal.

So beyond the role, what’s unique and interesting about this opportunity?

The learning opportunity is one clear aspect, because you’re going to building your knowledge and experience on both of the biggest CRM platforms currently in industry.

If your ambition is to grow to a Head of CRM type position in future, the scope of the role covering both data and CRM operations, with you overseeing both aspects will add significant value to your career.

On top of this is the business you’ll be joining. They’re a principally data and CRM based agency who work with wide range of large-scale, high profile brands. In many instances they also host their data warehouses for them too.

Client relationships are well established, and there’s even scope for projects to go up the funnel more, as the business is building its footprint with clients on more strategic agenda projects too.

The company describes themselves as a ‘big family’, and as such, not only do people enjoy what they do. But they enjoy being with the people they’re doing it with. One such example of this was with the amount of former team members who look to re-join the business years later. That’s not something you hear as a recruiter every day.

What’s going to help you land this role?

  • Knowledge of Adobe Campaign and Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Good knowledge of campaign audience selection and working with relational databases
  • Knowledge of campaign build and execution
  • Any knowledge of Faststats will be beneficial
  • Experience gained both agency and/or client side are both welcome
