CRM Solutions Manager
Location: once a week at office in London (near to London Bridge)
Salary: £60-80k base plus benefits

The first thing to highlight is this isn’t a technology/IT role, but it is one which works with technology to create the right solution for clients.

You’ll be joining a data consultancy, one which specialises in CRM to drive customer engagement and loyalty.

Their speciality is mid-tier clients across a diverse range of industries including retail, charities and insurance.

At the centre of most solutions is a proprietary data and CRM martech platform. One which helps businesses transform their customer data into a format they can use and gain commercial benefit from. This platform typically integrates with other third party solutions to provide additional business intelligence, insight, visualisations capabilities too.

Some solutions centre around just their proprietary platform. Others involve complexities like unpicking problems which exists and blockers in the way. Looking at how to raise the bar and improve what a company’s able to do with their data through implementing additional martech or analytical solutions to compliment.

What you’ll be is the expert in the room for all things CRM. Working with different clients to understand their business, customer or data related challenges. Getting under the skin of existing pinch points and barriers so you’re able to work through and come up with an appropriate solution. Articulating proposals back to the client, outlining the features and benefits, and what additional business opportunities it may afford.

There’s a real variety to the kinds of problems you’ll be looking to resolve. Sometimes they’ll be as simple as providing recommendations on a reporting solution. But they can also be as big as looking to sort out a company’s data estate to enable them to bring together a single customer view.

Projects will vary in scale and value. From things as small as a £50k, right up to things exceeding £1m.

Once the green light is given, you will hand over to a project team to deliver. At this stage your remit becomes more oversight, to ensure the right outcomes are achieved and the client is happy.

Hybrid working set up

With this company’s hybrid set up, you’re only typically in office once a week. But there’s also a client facing requirement alongside this too. Most of the time meets are online, but roughly once a month you can expect to need to go visit a client site too.

Experience needed

  • Sound experience within CRM and CRM data management environments
  • Good understanding of the MarTech landscape, what the benefits and drawbacks are of various platforms are
  • Technically robust, able to be the bridge between a client’s data and marketing function and technical teams
  • Good knowledge of CRM campaign management tools
  • Able to logically work through business challenges, and understand how data flows through systems and businesses so it can be captured and used for marketing purposes
