Data Planner - Digital

 

LOCATION –            Central London

SALARY –                £35k - £45k plus benefits

 

So many agencies TRY to do data and fail…..However, this agency has a strong heritage in customer and marketing analytics and has also been successful in securing advanced machine learning projects over the course of the last year, whilst building on their digital offering.

 

The Head of Analytics has a strong vision for the analytical offering, meaning strong direction and leadership for you. This includes delivering a wide range of analytical services across both traditional customer and marketing analytics as well as data science and digital, so, the opportunity for you to diversify and upskill is HUGE!

 

You will support on a variety of projects, working with multichannel data (in particular digital) to enhance campaign performance. You will work close with the Analyst and other Data Planners in the team to develop test and learn and measurement frameworks, conducting post campaign analysis and interpreting insights in order to develop data strategies. You should have some experience with analytical tools such as Google Analytics, in order to work with the Analysts to delve into the data and identify opportunities for improving campaign activity performance.

 

So, we can consider people with a variety of backgrounds:

 

Current Data Planner – you may already be working in this type of role

Analyst – You may be interested in diversifying your skills, going beyond the reporting and adding a strategic lens to your work

CRM Specialist – You may be working in a data driven CRM role, building data strategies as part of your role….make the move into a niche specialist role

Digital Marketing – You may be working in digital campaign delivery or management, if you have a strong data element to your background and work, this could be a great step!

The data is immense and complex!! You will be working with Big Data from a variety of data sources including lots of digital and social data, improving the client's overall customer engagement and targeted marketing approaches.

Skills required;

  • Educated to degree level in a numerate or relevant subject
  • Ideally agency side experience in a data planning role, alternative profiles with transferable skills happily considered (Analytics, CRM, digital marketing)
  • Ideally experience using Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics, or an alternative analytics tool
  • Proven experience in supporting data led campaign activity
  • Good understanding of CRM and insight platforms
  • Good knowledge of CRM and test and learn practices
  • Superb communication skills and ability to communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders including end clients
