Demand and Supply Associate – Pharmaceutical Industry

Overview

Working with a Global Pharmaceutical business to support the demand and supply team to deliver high level customer service through the management of the S&OP Process. You will collaborate internally with Commercial, Customer Service and Product Supply functions to deliver accurate forecasts and stock availability at a brand and customer level.

 

Job Title: Demand and Supply Associate

Salary: c.£35’000 Fixed Term Contract

Contract Term: 18 months’ initial term

Location: North West London / Buckinghamshire border

 

This is an interesting opportunity where you will utilise your customer service experience along with using your well-honed data and analytical skills.

You will be responsible for:

  • Provision of all reports required to effectively run S&OP, utilising applications to do this
  • Responsible for the development of a robust, un-biased and comprehensive sales forecast for approximately 300 SKUs, split across multiple brands, markets and customers
  • To analyse reports and support the team in understanding customer and stock changes
  • Challenge forecasts to drive continuous improvement and ensure that the escalation process is followed to highlight variances, and potential issues throughout the supply chain and S&OP process
  • Review and make improvements to existing reports to improve data validation, ease and speed of update
  • To respond and communicate on demand & supply issues with customers a timely manner in order to avoid out of stocks
  • Contacting customers where necessary to further discuss forecast alignment
  • Review, identify and resolve key forecast inaccuracy issues and demand variationsIn depth analysis of historical sales data for trends, bias, promotions, seasonality and demand peaks
  • Management of the forecast database ensuring it is updated and maintained
  • Prioritization of orders with customer services / site quality team where required
  • Agreement of supply scenarios where capacity does not meet commercial demand
