Digital Data Scientist

COMPANY & ROLE

This role sits onsite with the World’s Leading Social Media Platform. Working for one of the fastest growing digital agency groups in the UK, you will form part of a specialist on site team of experts, focused on delivering B2B2B marketing communications and the measurement of this.

You will work collaboratively with the client to improve understanding of their marketing effectiveness across multiple channels and as part of the agency’s onsite team, so we are looking for someone who can work independently and really own the delivery of the analytics and digital analytics and data science projects, so a solutions focused approach and self-starting attitude is vital.; you will be the ‘go to’ person for all things analytics!        

Given the onsite model, you will naturally be client facing, with strong skills in building relationships, understanding stakeholder’s requirements and working to shape solutions.

Our client is known for acquiring a number of agencies over the last few years with an aim of expanding its global footprint and overall offering, and has attracted impressive agency industry leaders to its senior leadership team, and has offices all over the world.

 

TITLE:                    Data Scientist

LOCATION:         Central London

SALARY:               £60k - £80k (depending on experience) plus benefits

 

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Educated to at least degree level in a numerate subject; Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Operational Research etc.
  • Strong and efficient coder using a scripting language such as R, Python, JavaScript or JINJA
  • A background in marketing analytics (customer insight, marketing effectiveness, econometrics) and experience with tools such as Google Analytics or Adobe analytics is essential
  • A strong background in statistical analytics is is key; building attribution models, A/B testing, lift analysis, leveraging machine learning techniques
  • Excellent communication skills in order to liaise with client stakeholders
  • Comfortable working with large scale data sets from a variety of sources, in particular, digital
