Role:  Digital Performance Marketing Executive – Paid/PPC/Biddable Media
Location: Currently remote, but will need to be able to get to Slough when C-19 is dealt with
Salary: £28,000 to £33,000 base
Benefits: 25 days leave, pension, life assurance & health insurance

There’s just a few firms who can say 2020 has been a good year for them. This thankfully, is one of those organisations.

Their growth and success is connected in part to the global health pandemic, as their core service offering is life assurance.

This disruptor was formed around 7 years ago and since then have built a significant customer base and experienced huge amounts of growth.

This opportunity sits within their digital performance team, looking to give you control of their PPC and paid media/display campaigns across both Google and Bing.

You’ll be joining an existing team of 6 within digital, and a wider marketing function of 20. It’s a pretty diverse team, with people coming from all different industries and age ranges. They’re all very approachable and friendly. The unifying theme being each are experts within their field, and that’s what they’re looking for you to become in this role too.

Confident enough to be able to autonomously own each campaign, with the knowledge to adapt and come up with different ideas to test and learn from in order to drive improvements to paid media performance.

It’s important to highlight, you’ve got to be happy taking on a role where you’ll be required to build and manage the campaigns yourself, not pushing through agencies and just project managing.

There’s multiple brands you’ll be managing campaigns for, and there’s new ones on the horizon coming too in order to target different niches. So there’s plenty to get your teeth into and a growth mandate coming too.

At the moment, all interviews are being conducted by phone and video interview. With onboarding being carried out virtually.

What have I got to show:

  • Hands-on Digital Performance Marketer with a solid knowledge of principally PPC / display campaigns
  • Experience from either agency or end-client environments
  • You know how to dig into performance data to optimise media
  • You’re also someone savvy enough to horizon scan and identify opportunities and adapt strategies to take advantage, including competitor keyword monitoring
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics for reporting, tracking and analysing performance
  • An interest in wanting to work in the insurance/assurance industry. Recognising it’s highly regulated and competitive
