Role: Digital Performance Marketing Manager
: Andover, Hampshire – with remote working too - typically 2-3 days from home/office split post pandemic
Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 (based on experience)

What makes you stand out from the crowd in digital performance, are results.

If you walk into an employer interview and show them you’ve driven massive growth figures and exceeded targets, you’re going to get their attention.

Why am I highlighting the obvious?

Because to do that, you’ve not just got to be good at what you do. But you’ve got to be with a business that’s going places. A product or service in demand and in growth phase, and be with a business who are investing and offering the right support and belief in digital.

This opportunity offers you just that.

The digital performance programme you’ll be taking over here is doing pretty well in PPC, but there’s lots of headroom and space to accelerate into across other paid media channels, and the firm is prepared to invest to achieve a step-change in performance, and explore those green-field spaces.

You’ll be owning all digital performance channels. So that means all paid search and paid social, as well as developing their display and digital lead generation channels too.

This is principally done through agencies with you managing them. Ensure performance is optimised and results delivered.

You’ll have the support of a paid search executive, who will be helping with the day to day execution and monitoring of campaign performance.

You’ll be looking at cross channel optimisation, ensuring leads are captured and appropriately attributed per channel. Including looking at the relationship between on and offline, and notably with things like DRTV.

There’s a healthy budget in the millions to handle. Plus the latitude to look at new channel opportunities, as well as the latitude to look at how changes in the digital paid media ecosystem could deliver further value and benefits too.

In addition, there will be an executive to support with day to day campaign and operations pieces, and you’ll be reporting to the Head of Acquisition who’s overseeing the overall marketing engine’s performance, both on and offline.

Your measures of success will be ROI per campaign and CPA objectives successfully delivered.

The company’s in a really good spot, and the programme is driving good levels of return, but there’s definitely room for improvement, particularly with opportunities to scale - this will become your baby to deliver.

Key Experience Necessary

  • Decent degree of Paid Social and PPC experience, targeting consumer markets
  • Evidenced experience of delivering performance through agencies
  • Innovator, with an inquisitive mindset. You like to test and trial new things with a view to driving performance improvements
  • Analytical, and data savvy – can really dig into campaign performance data. You understand performance drivers and can evidence results of the programmes you’ve overseen
  • Confident in your subject matter and able to bring together strategies and ideas, putting them into action

Must be able to live and work in the UK unrestricted.
