Role:                     Digital Product Innovation Manager – AdTech Innovation
Location:             Central Manchester offices, likely 2 days a week
Salary:                  Up to £65,000 basic plus benefits

This is the crossroads where Digital Marketing meets Artificial Intelligence. A new series of software tools designed with the small business in mind.

Helping remove the barriers for businesses wanting to trade in a digital economy, but who don’t have the knowledge or skills to do so.

Demystifying digital advertising through the clever use of AI and data to do most of the heavy lifting automatically.

Your remit is essentially the task of taking ideas and turning them into tangible, commercial products.

Products which meet the needs of customers in the digital advertising ecosystem. Whether that be around search marketing, social media display or any other form of digital advertising channel, including digital OOH.

The solutions are all underpinned by Data and AI, and advancements in data science capabilities and automation.

Your scope is to dream big and look to really push the art of the possible in this space. Honestly, the sky’s the limit.

All you’ve got to do is know where this market is going in order to see where the opportunity is. Then understand how to bring together a commercially viable solution which solves a customer problem.

Then take that idea and turn it into a business case, taking it through the development process to launch to market.

To give credence to just how big you’re able to dream – the entire unit that’s being built right now was the brainchild of the hiring manager of this role.

All the commercial backing and investment that’s gone into it is a result of their ability to do all of the above and gain buy in from the Board to deliver it.

Whilst you’ll be working for them, creating solutions which will help build out the product offering for this digital advertising solutions team. They’ve said, if the opportunity is sound, and the case compelling. The opportunity exists for someone else to create the next big opportunity and the business is prepared to invest to make it a reality.

KEY EXPERIENCE

  • Past experience within a MarTech, AdTech or experience with a DSP, within a product development or product innovation capacity
  • You’ve experience of taking things from idea through business case, all development phases and take to market
  • You’ve not just managed a product in life and kept the lights on – you prefer remits which focus on new opportunities and creation
  • Good knowledge of the digital marketing/digital advertising ecosystem
  • Sound knowledge of emerging market trends in this space. Who the movers and players are. Where new innovations might come from, so who could be good firms to partner with and what needs to be brought down path to bring new things to market
