Role:                     Digital Product Manager – Web & App
Location:             Ability to be remote most of the time, with only the occasional need to travel to London for meetings.
Salary:                 Up to £60,000 plus benefits – 80% discount on Rail Travel – Personal & Business Travel

What you’ll be doing is owning the feature backlog and development roadmap for  12 websites and a App. The role will focus on creating a strategy to merge the 12 websites into one supersite and assist in the redevelopment of their eCommerce App.

The websites generate 9million visitors a year and directly contribute nearly £900 million in revenue to the company, the company is currently going through a company wide Digital Transformation project and are looking to create a streamlined web real estate and make buying their products as easy as possible as they have identified several areas of improvement.

You will lead on Product Management for your area (12 Websites & an App) and manage the delivery of the product roadmap, and interface into the business and agencies to understand the needs sites currently and a transitional roadmap to their goals. Turning those needs into the overarching roadmap for development.

You’ll be responsible for shaping the user stories, working with end clients to understand their needs. Those end users will be from within the agency itself as well as external clients who use the platform themselves.

You’ll take these and translate them into the product features roadmap and oversee its strategic delivery. Working in Agile and Sprints with the development teams. Prioritising feature backlogs and moving projects forward via your team to a successful roll out.

There’s going to be plenty of variety of challenge with this opportunity, as you’ll be moving between products once updates are successfully delivered, overseeing everything to ensure it comes together cohesively as an overall product.

KEY CHALLENGES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Optimise e-commerce and commercial performance measures to acquire and retain customers and market share.
  • Drive ongoing conversion rate improvement, continued customer satisfaction and revenue within the digital experience
  • Strong digital analytics focus on key performance indicators, especially conversion rates from all traffic sources.
  • Ensure the digital product design delivers against the business plan and commercial targets
  • Drive the Product roadmap, managing change initiatives and the product backlog in line with digital and business product strategy, including QA and Service delivery alignment
  • Engage with internal and external product stakeholders to understand and refine the product vision driving and contributing to the product roadmap, outlining work in the Product Backlog, and prioritising it based on business value
  • Campaign optimisation from paid and search
  • Achieve operational effectiveness from income and costs
  • Respond to customer feedback, insight, and service to provide an excellent customer experience.

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • They are looking for someone with several years experience in Product style role, and ideally a  strong e-commerce background.
  • E-commerce and conversion rate optimisation, esp if MVT and AB testing.
  • Experience of managing integrated e-commerce products incorporating Apps, modern website technologies and web development
  • Commercial and analytical acumen.
  • Experience in using technology to change and improve customer behaviour
  • Experience working in a modern agile Product Manager role
  • Experience in defining a product vision, goals, and KPI’s
  • Experience developing a deep understanding of customer needs and translating into clear product requirements
  • Experience developing and prioritising a product backlog
  • Ability to analyse data, form hypotheses, and decide what to do next
  • Proven ability to deliver digital ecommerce products projects across time, cost and quality
  • Experience working on customer-facing web products.
