Job Title:             Digital Project Executive
Location:
             Close to Tunbridge Wells/High Brooms
Salary:                  £25,000 to £30,000 (based on experience)
Benefits:             30 days leave (this includes bank holidays), Healthcare, Pension, Staff discount scheme, Gym discounts and more

Not all digital project management roles with decent employer brands have to be situated out of Zone 1 and cost you up to £5k in train fairs just to get there…

In fact, they don’t even have to be agency side (which I appreciate seems the case when you have a Google around).

No, in fact what you’ve stumbled across is something of a unicorn, if you happen to be living a commutable distance to Tunbridge Wells, and it’s not even working for that big insurance provider everyone knows.

Indeed, this is a well-established firm who has built-up a good employer reputation over the years. It’s somewhere you’d be proud to say to friends and family you’re a part of. A business with a clear vision and mission, especially in digital, as they’re primarily an ecommerce retailer.

You probably want the excitement of knowing the brand name, but this is an agency advert, so we can’t say right now. Suffice to say you won’t be disappointed.

They’re a dot com success story. A business who’s successfully made the transition from bricks and mortar store operations to international digital economy market leader within their sector.

Their digital and marketing functions have an ambitious roadmap ahead. Taking on this role will see you engaged in Agile project management coordinating a number of these. Working with people across their digital, marketing and IT (Developer) functions. Looking to ensure all digital projects are delivered in priority order through Sprints.

This is a busy role, handling things from concept ideas through to execution. Ensuring all functions involved in projects have clear expectations and clarity of project milestones, kept abreast of these through regular update meetings and project update reports.

If you’re organised, have a great appreciation of digital (marketing, technology, digital channels, etc) and keen to secure an opportunity which doesn’t come with a massive annual commuting cost, why not explore this?

Location: You can walk from High Brooms train station in around 25 minutes to their offices. There’s also parking available onsite and nearby to their offices.

EXPERIENCE NEEDED

  • Knowledge of Agile project management methodology
  • You’ve handled a variety of digital projects before which delivered new functions, usability features, campaign pages, etc. for the web estate of a business
  • An understanding of project reporting tools like Gaant, Velocity, Burndown charting, etc.
  • Knowledge of Jira will be beneficial
  • An understanding of web architecture and functional design principals
  • Excellent communication skills, able to demonstrate the ability to work across project teams from across a business
