Role:                     Digital Project Manager, Marketing (both junior and senior)
Location:             Central London offices, likely 2 days a week

Salary:                 Junior – up to £45k
Senior – up to £55k

Both come with a benefits package and are permanent engagements

There’s two positions available, one is more complex than the other and so needs someone who’s able to demonstrate more experience in handling complex marketing projects which cover both on and offline channels, with complicated stakeholder networks and lots of moving parts which need bringing together.

That’s essentially the biggest difference between the two opportunities, and reason one is being appointed at a more senior level to the other.

The other difference is regions. With one covering EU based projects, the other handling regions determined as ‘overseas’ regions. But makes up a smaller, less complex part to their business.

Outside of this, both roles are very similar.

Both align to working with an automotive giant. A recognised world leader in the luxury car market. Responsible for the pulling together, organising and production side of the company’s digital marketing production.

Pulling together and organising content for paid media, programmatic, paid social, print, online, dealership channels and CRM.

The agency handles this car firm’s marketing on a global basis, and every piece of marketing this company does to it’s customers, across all channels, and for all models.

That’s a lot of marketing activity, and it’s a big agency function which encompasses a lot of moving parts, complicated delivery schedules and involves a lot of resource.

Your job is to put order into all this. Engaging with the relevant teams to ensure everything beats the deadline, but is also to the desired outcomes and quality. Working with PM tools like Screendragon and Jira. Setting up and running projects using the most appropriate methodology (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) to ensure workflow is properly handled.

You’ll also be supporting the teams through providing regular reporting and updates, so they each have visibility of where things are at, and ultimately to ensure delivery is met. On time, on budget.

You’ll be organising the teams, setting up and leading meetings, helping to identify issues as they arise, helping to smooth things out and get things back on track. Working with the relevant teams who face conflicts or challenges. Acting as that conduit for information and supporting each to appreciate and understand situations and challenges as they arise.

About the business

They’re an incredible well respected agency with a large, diverse roster of prestigious clients. The agency has a global presence, with offices all round the world. The team you’ll be joining includes a UK design team of around 10 people, but will be doubling in size by the end of this year and has potential to expand further in 2023 because of a number of potential new clients coming onboard.

In addition, they have offices around Europe and across the rest of the world, and dependent on whether you’re taking on the European role, or the ‘overseas’ territories role, will reflect the size and complexities of the wider stakeholder groups you will be liaising with and needing to help organise workflow from.

They position themselves as a real learning environment and they look for people who share this enthusiasm for new things, and are open to expanding their horizons, knowledge and capabilities.

KEY EXPERIENCE

  • Previous project management experience in a marketing production environment. Overseeing complicated, high volume campaigns which are delivered across multiple channels
  • Confident not only in the organisational side of things, but also in dealing with people. Able to organise and lead stand-ups. Handle issues and conflicts in scheduling as they arise, and good with smoothing out production challenges
  • Got experience with using an appropriate PM tool
  • Good knowledge of various methodologies including Waterfall and Agile
