Director of Market Access and Public Affairs

Role Overview

The role has arisen due to internal promotion and we are looking for an enthusiastic, driven and proactive professional in Market Access.

You’d be working for expanding pharmaceutical business who have a keen focus on developing their pipeline of products in the UK and Ireland as well as into Central and Eastern Europe.

Responsibilities and Expectations

You’ll be part of the Senior Leadership Team, helping to develop and execute market access strategies for existing and pipeline assets. Within this role you will also have two direct reports within the Market Access team. Both individuals are highly skilled and experienced professionals.

As Director of Market Access, you will share best practices, support the HEOR programmes and engage stakeholders to facilitate pricing and reimbursement. Using your strong influencing skills and diplomacy, you will ensure the development of a coherent MA strategy in collaboration with Global and European strategies.

You will have the opportunity to make huge changes to Market Access from a strategic perspective and you’ll be looked to to put forward innovative and exciting ideas to help drive the business forward.

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Previous and proven experience in Market Access, HEOR and HTA Submissions
  • Strong leadership profile
  • A proven track record of success in NICE, SMC and AWMSG submissions
  • Experience in Public/External Affairs would be ideal but isn’t essential
