Legal Document Production Assistant
REMOTE WORKING

This high-performing and hard-hitting, top 100 law firm have multiple offices across the Southeast, including their beautiful head-office in great West Kent location. With many Legal 500 listings over the firm’s offices, it is easy to see how successful and monumental this legal firm is in the UK. This impressive firm works alongside extremely high-net-worth private and commercial clients, all while maintaining a strong emphasis on work/life balance and flexibility for their staff.
 
They are looking for a Legal Document Production Assistant to join their team. This role is perfect for someone who has experience as a legal secretary – ideally with some experience in property OR an individual with document production experience. This role will be dealing with document production across the firm and will not sit within a specific department. The successful candidate must be comfortable and confident with IT and legal technology.
 
Some of the duties the successful candidate will take on in this secretarial role include, but are not limited to:
  • Audiotyping
  • Preparation and sending of documents and other paperwork
  • File management
  • Providing correct filing
  • Production of necessary documents on behalf of the fee earners
  • Communicating with clients and other people within the firm, both over email and over the phone
  • Undertaking property searches
 
Other points to note:
 
  • This position will have the successful individual working shifts falling between 8am and 8pm with a lunch break – the shift times are as follows:
8:00am-4:15pm, 9:00am-5:15pm and 11:45am-8:00pm
 
  • On the rare occasion that there is a team-wide meeting, you will be asked to attend the firm’s head office in Kent (a simple train journey from London)
 
  • The firm do need an individual who is available to complete a whole shift as this role relies on availability for clients
 
  • IT competency and the ability to work autonomously is a must
 
  • All equipment for this role will be provided to you
 
 
Salary: upto £26,000
Location – remote but will be required in the office for training and any meetings
