We need you to be a self-starter, comfortable being dropped in the deep end and able to get under the skin of a brand. You will know how to write engaging copy for Social and act as the brand guardian for Automotive Brand.

You’ll be comfortable managing your own time, and enjoy being treated like an adult who knows how to successfully deliver to deadlines. You will be responsible for telling the brand's story across all social channels, making sure the content calendar is in place and is delivering key brand messages.

As you can imagine relevant experience within industries closely aligned to Content Marketing/Editorial will be essential, so you can come from a client side/agency background as long as you have delivered a content/social strategy for a large consumer brand. We’re saying this as we need to see a strong background in Copywriting, Community Management and Social strategy to be successful in this role.

You will be an experienced plate spinner, covering the breadth of Content & Social campaigns to make sure a brands campaign gets out to the masses.

What we’re looking for you to demonstrate:

  • Creation of year-long nameplate and brand content plans in line with the Social Media strategy
  • Work with the Global communications team to create the social element of ATL campaigns, advising on best social practice and utilising campaign assets through engaging and suitable formats.
  • From receiving a brief from client to creating/curating content, or using market supplied content in an innovative way, the Global Editorial Director will produce a brief to create/crop/edit the assets for the format required.  
  • Regularly checking social channels, pro-actively reflecting on fans, customers and prospects questions and comments with our content to best inform the curation of the social programme. Identifying key influencers and grow the owned social community into advocates for the respective brands.
  • Creation of posts and working closely with community manager to publish content calendars, campaigns and launches on social channels. Working alongside the media agency if post has budget support from promotion.
