Epidemiologist - ~£75,000 p/a

Overview:

We’re seeking an epidemiologist looking to develop their career by joining one of the top pharmaceutical companies worldwide and influencing brand strategy across their portfolio of prescribed medicines. While there will be a need for regular collaboration with Market Access and Health Economics Outcomes and Research teams, you will be required to work independently on a frequent basis, with responsibility for designing, producing, interpreting, and presenting real world studies to aid in evidence based decision making.

Salary: ~£75,000

Location: Bracknell

The key responsibilities for this role are:

• Design and lead production of successful real-world data studies
• Evaluate and develop protocols for data analysis and report production
• Interpret and present relevant data to ensure that Health Technology Assessment submissions contain robust and beneficial information
• Mentor and encourage Associate Epidemiologists and potential interns
• Take a pro-active role in cross-functional communication, particularly with the Market Access and HEOR teams.
• Provide epidemiological input on strategy development across all UK/Ireland Brand Plans

Required Experience:

• Educated to Degree level in mathematics, statistics or related discipline
• MSc/PhD in Epidemiology or related discipline
• In depth knowledge of epidemiological methods and medical statistics, and management of large data sets
• Experience of creating studies, from proposal writing to publication
• Understanding of CPRD would be advantageous
