We need you to be a self-starter, comfortable being dropped in the deep end and able to get under the skin of a brand. This role will manage the Global Social Media work stream and be the go to person for Social Media person for an Automotive client.

You’ll be comfortable managing your own time, and enjoy being treated like an adult who knows how to successfully deliver Social Media campaigns. You will be responsible for telling the brands story across all social channels, managing the global Social Media workstream and managing social media best practice across the account.

As you can imagine relevant experience within industries closely aligned to Social Media Management from an agency background is essential, You will have managed and delivered on social media work stream and projects and be looking for a step up into a global role. We’re saying this as we need to see a strong background in Social Media Management & Social strategy to be successful in this role.

You will be an experienced plate spinner, covering the breadth of Content & Social campaigns to make sure a brands campaign gets out to the masses.

What we’re looking for you to demonstrate:

  • Ability to recognise/predict trends within the social landscape and pro-actively express an opinion on the ways these can be implemented to creative ideas and executions - Providing feedback on trends/comments from platforms to the wider team and suggest content or tests that we could do to maximise on these.
  • Driving the strategy in close partnership with the strategy director, the Account Director will ensure the social media strategy is up to date and equally is applicable to the various social channels in a way which reflects the overall brand plan. 
  • From receiving a brief from client to creating content, the Account Director will work closely with strategy, creative & production to manage the internal processes (ensuring resource is booked, providing brief to Project Manager, creative approval), through to client sign-off. Integrated working with the rest of the Comms team is vital to ensure fully integrated campaigns.
  • Management of senior clients and internal stakeholders. This includes day to day running of the social business, expectation management, SOW negotiations and production budget conversations.
