Global Customer Insight Analytics Director

12 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT

Global Luxury Fashion Brand

 

A maternity cover role, which requires an experienced customer insight analytics leader to join this global powerhouse, luxury fashion brand. You will be part of a centralised data and CRM function, which sets the strategy for all CRM and analytics globally, feeding down best practice to all regional teams. You are also be joining the team at a point of positive change, whereby they are also looking to appoint a senior data science lead who you will report into and work in collaboration with, to drive CRM personalisation, as well as leveraging these advanced analytics and modelling techniques to drive improved decisions making across the business.

 

Head of the team: an energetic and passionate character who loves her job and the team she leads, plus she’s a super advocate for the culture and brand, describing the local EMEA and Global teams like a family, where there are huge amounts of support, collaboration and training opportunities.

 

She also describes the business as closer to a high street retailer in its mechanics and pace, with advanced CRM practices and already heavily invested in Data Science led CRM and personalisation through their CRM agency partner. They have been leveraging machine learning and AI techniques and solutions to improve the decision making across the business as well, not just around marketing related topics.

 

Day to day responsibilities include overseeing the build and automation of regular customer reports with AI input, providing strategic recommendations off the back of these. Your team will also leverage more advanced analytics techniques and methodologies for exploratory insights projects, with the aim of answering often) complex, broader business questions. You will define key customer targets (NPS score, acquisition, retention, value, frequency etc.) with the integration of statistical propensity models as well as shape the overall customer insights strategy to enable top line business growth.

 

Experienced required:

  • Educated to degree level in a numerate subject; Mathematics, statistics, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Physics, Chemistry etc.
  • Skilled in leading teams of customer insight and reporting analysts
  • Ideally hands on skills in leveraging SQL and reporting or analytics tools such as Alteryx, Python or R for analysis and modelling purposes, or leading and guiding teams which do so
  • Exceptional ability to understand complex analytics topics, translate them into relevant conclusions/deliverables, and develop and deliver meaningful presentations, visualizations, and infographics
  • Ability to work at a global level in a fast paced, complex business environment, often engaging with very senior level stakeholders
  • Strategic thinker, ability to see the bigger picture and apply analytical solutions to solve  broad busines problems, answering questions around the customer
