Location
:             Central London HQ, but remote for the time being (likely until 2021)
Salary:                  Up to circa £70,000
Benefits:             Bonus, pension, healthcare, product discounts and lots more

If you’ve spent time on Linkedin over the last couple of months, you’ve probably seen the ‘who led the digital transformation of your company?’ meme.

Well, instead of Covid-19 – here’s an opportunity which hands that remit to you!

THE ROLE

You’re looking at the opportunity to join a premium beauty and skincare brand.

An industry that’s typically relied upon in-store, spa and retail events to drive sales. But many, particularly in the premium space, haven’t yet connected the very traditional physical world with the digital one to drive new sales opportunities through effective, joined up marketing.

So as you can imagine, there’s lots to do.

The great news is they’ve realised the need to change and the benefits of doing so. So the hardest part is already done and the business is ready and waiting for you.

They need your ‘digital first’ way of looking at the world.

Looking at the various strategies available to successfully bridge traditional with digital. Creating and connecting journeys which are not only reflective of their premium brand, but give new opportunities to driving incremental value.

So things like counter services with CRM – the data capture through to messaging in order to drive repeat purchase, and how to successfully do this via 3rd party retail sites using digital means.

Or with heritage based health spas – how would you pivot a very traditional bricks and mortar sales experience into digital ones. How would you ensure it’s complimentary to the spa partner and the brand, whilst connecting those dots and driving that digital first approach?

You’ll have a team of marketers reporting to you made up of channel owners, and be reporting to the Marketing Director.

You’ll oversee the execution of the marketing calendar through your team. Responsible for internal brainstorming around the art of what’s possible, and how to make the changes needed to digitally activate and join up all channels to create these innovative customer experiences and journeys. That they tie back to commercial objectives and really bring the brand’s way of engaging and interacting with their customers into a post 2020 world.

This is a really big opportunity to create meaningful change and deliver impressive results. It’s a completely new position with a world of opportunities ahead of it.

So if you love that kind of challenge, and thrive taking on roles where you’re making stuff happen. This could be a really exciting opportunity.

KEY EXPERIENCE

  • Refreshingly, there aren’t many restrictions on industry background for this one. Just need that Digital First piece demonstrated (and we’re not talking about digital performance marketing), for a consumer facing brand
  • Evidence of delivering digital marketing transformations
  • Multi-channel experience is highly beneficial – across direct and/or third party retail channels, etailers, trade, CRM, etc.
  • Keen commercial mind – you understand how to put together a case for investment and project and ROI from it
  • Confident leading teams, but directly and larger project teams to deliver to goals
