Head of Marketing
Location – UK - Home based principally (no office requirement)
Salary: Base up to £110,000 plus benefits

But even cryptoassets can’t avoid tax. But it’s complicated, especially keeping track of international trades and understanding where tax liabilities are being accrued. It’s certainly a time consuming and confusing problem to have whether for an average Joe or corporate investors and traders.

That’s what this rapidly scaling SaaS specialises in, and they’ve got over 300,000 customers on book already taking advantage of their solution.

Whilst still technically a start-up, the size of customer base demonstrates their ambition to become the Sage or Intuit equivalent platform for crypto-traders.

As the Head of Marketing, your remit will be to oversee and implement strategies for your team covering digital, advertising, communications and creative. Ensuring everything aligns, is joined up and delivers the right outcomes. Whether that be in terms of brand metrics or hard numbers to bottom line.

It’s going to need a fully integrated, channel agnostic marketing programme to achieve this, and you will need to be happy turning to and delivering, not just oversee strategy. The team is lean at the moment and part of your remit is to scale it as the business grows. Helping them understand what good looks like and how to deliver it.

Your remit is to help this business achieve hyper growth objectives through building their brand and reputation in this industry, driving key messaging and campaigns across on and offline channels. Both in B2B and D2C channels. Helping turn them into the international tax solution platform for the crypto industry.

With this opportunity you’ve got an opportunity to hold real influence. Influence on how the business grows, how to attack different markets and what the marketing priorities are to help a successfully scaling, well financed SaaS business to become the No1 in this specialist market.

Key experience

  • Leadership experience in marketing for B2B and B2C industries in SaaS, technology based businesses
  • Happy to take on a role which has hands-on operational aspects as it’s still a scaling business
  • An understanding of the crypto or tax software industries
  • Good broad marketing pedigree covering the full marketing mix and across on and offline channels
  • Solid brand marketing credentials with keen eye for creative and detail
  • Good mind for marketing metrics and performance data
  • Able to build and grow high performing marketing teams
