The Global FinTech company is looking for a Head of Online to join its Digital leadership team and manage the evolution of their two corporate websites. The role will have full responsibility for the management of these two huge websites covering: Web Content, SEO, Google analytics and management of the incoming lead generation funnel.

The company is one of the top 5 FinTech’s in the world, their technology is present in every major Bank, Asset Manager and Trading business. After a management reshuffle, they have placed a greater emphasis on Digital and their website to passively attract new business. The company is one of the most recognized FinTech’s in the world and regularly host a wide variety of events and conferences around the world.

Their culture is centered around empowerment & passion for their products with the appointment of their new Marketing Director there is a new drive within the team to grow and expand. The Marketing Director is a real leader within marketing, they focus on empowering the team to succeed and grow within their roles.

As Head of Online you will join our successful  Marketing team based in their London offices and be responsible for:

  • Accountable for the design, upgrading, enhancement, maintenance, availability, and effectiveness of technical functionality and content for the external web sites
  • Coordinates the publishing of web site content, user interface, look & feel and level of specificity to suit a wide range of needs
  • Works with marketing and systems teams to coordinate content, developing on-going site structure and updates
  • Creates customized experiences for visitors to the websites
  • Maintain relationships with vendors supporting the websites
  • Identify and manage tools including web analytics, SEO/SEM

The ideal candidate will have extensive digital experience managed a complex product driven website or websites at a strategic level and managed a plethora of agencies to complete several projects. You can have experience from either an agency (Management Consultancy is preferred) or client-side background as long as you have owned a complex website strategy and must have experience working in a large complex business.

The Head of Online - Fintech role requires the following experience: 

  • Experience in running, maintaining and improving the effectiveness of web sites
  • Skilled in digital innovation and a very good understanding of web tools and systems
  • Be technically knowledgeable in all aspects of digital marketing
  • Significant experience in digital marketing strategy
  • Leadership of a digital marketing function
  • Experience in presenting website visitors with unique experiences tailored to their needs 
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Financial services and/or software industry market experience

 Title: Head of Online - Fintech
Location: London
Salary: £70k – £85k
