SALARY -            £45k - £55k & benefits

An international Agency is looking for a Data Analyst to join their team! The company handles big brands and has multiple teams around the globe, offering full-service marketing and brand solutions from advertising to media buying, content production to Data Science, Customer Mapping to web design and build.

This is a brand new role, created for the new Data Network within the Agency’s award winning Customer Experience division, with the goal of aiding their growth and moving beyond the delivery of data services around CRM activity, and drive data innovation across the whole partnership and all agencies involved. Alongside the great clients this company works with, you would be working with a huge amount of data that can supply amazing opportunities!

This new development means that it will go beyond CRM data and a drive for innovation and will mean stitching together various data sources, analysis and expertise to provide a singular customer view for end clients across media, digital, social, retail and CRM channels.

They are looking for a Data Analyst (or an open-minded Data Scientist!) familiar with a broad range of data sources, ideally media, product and CRM data. Someone with an entrepreneurial mindset, who can use their advanced and statistical analytics skills with experience collecting, organising, analysing, and disseminating abundant information with accuracy. You should be experienced in coding and modelling using SQL, and either Python and/or R and have knowledge of using data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Google Data Studio of Power BI.

The culture is also agile, fast paced and creative, so if you think you would suit a sociable, fun agency environment with lots of room for growth in the data space, this could be a great fit for you!

The team is currently small, but agile, consisting of 3 members – a Senior Analyst & Junior Data Strategist and the Head of Data Strategy, who oversees both Strategy and Analytics/Data Science, and has ambitions to begin leveraging more advanced Data Science and AI techniques, setting themselves apart from their competitors, supported by multichannel data strategy. So, there is huge growth opportunity here for the right candidate and given it’s a brand new position, a real chance to shape the role and really make it your own. There is also the chance for peer learning, working closely with other analysts, Econometricians, Data Scientists, Data Planners and Strategists, and Digital Analysts across the group.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Educated to degree level, in a numerate subject (Such as computer science, mathematics, statistics, chemistry, physics, or economics)
  • Advanced analytical skills with experience collecting, organising, analysing, and disseminating abundant information with accuracy
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills
  • The ability to present findings in a polished way
  • Proficiency with statistics and dataset analytics (SQL)
  • Proficiency with coding programmes like R or Python
  • Experience with data visualisation tools such as tableau, google data studio or Power BI
  • Familiarity with media, product, CRM data would be preferred
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with an innovative approach to business planning
