Location: East Yorkshire

Hours of Work: 7.5 Hours per day covering a service of 08:00 to 20:00 Monday to Friday

 08:00 to 15:00 Saturday / Sunday as rostered, including Bank Holidays

The IT Service Desk Analyst Role:

The IT Service Desk Analyst will be an integral part of the IT support to the customers across Primary Care and GP Practices within Humber locality.

The role will primarily provide 1st line technical support, managing an incoming call queue, while trying to resolve as many issues as possible on first contact. Also, when demand requires, the role will be required to provide support to the 2nd line, 3rd line and procurement support roles within the team.

The post holder will have a friendly, customer-focused attitude, putting the customer first at all times. The post holder will contribute to a well-run and efficient IT team.

IT Service Desk Analyst Requirements:

  • Advanced IT skills
  • Excellent understanding of a Windows 10 and a wide range of software applications
  • Professional, customer-focused approach
  • Active Directory administration (Account Creation and Password Resets)
  • Excellent knowledge of hardware and software in a corporate IT environment
  • Good customer service skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to analyse complex issues
  • Ability to work effectively and calmly to tight deadlines and manage own workload
  • At least 1 years’ exposure to computing environments
  • Full UK Driving License with daily access to a vehicle 
  • Willing to participate in the out of hours on-call services
