Role:   Lead / Demand Generation Marketing Manager
Salary:   Circa £50,000 plus
Location:   Office - Clevedon, Near Bristol
Work from home: Up to you, you can work from the offices or work from home. There will be occasional requirement to travel to the office for meetings.

The team you’ll be joining is made up of 14 people and covers the EMEA region for a very well known tech brand who specialise in industrial hardware.

Your team overseas lead and demand generation through a mixture of digital performance marketing as well as lifecycle marketing automation (both nurture, engagement and retention campaigns).

Your role as team lead is to oversee what’s being delivered from a project management point of view, and the lead generation funnel is performing as expected. Dropping in to channels to understanding why some things might be over or under indexing. Working with the team to resolve issues, as well as come up with strategies and approaches to continually improve what’s possible to achieve.

What you’ll be inheriting is a team who are currently in a good place, having gone through a reasonably significant change in the last year or so. Going from regional ownership to becoming an EMEA hub.

They’re now pioneers of the new business model, demonstrating real successes and a step change in results following its implementation.

Over the coming year, there’s talk of introducing a more targeted ABM (account based marketing) strategy, and work is in play with the company’s content team to help create collateral to support this.

You and your team will be involved in its testing and implementation further down track when this looks to go live. So there’s a really great opportunity for training and learning if you come onboard and join the company at this point in time with this.

From a day to day perspective, two other major stakeholder teams will be the research and planning teams. Who not only create the insights which define customer personas. But also assist you with setting targets and objectives for campaigns.

Then there’s the content specialists in the communications teams. They build the content for the campaigns you and your team are executing.

Your role with these is to be the main point of contact for each of these. As you’ll be managing the campaign calendar, and so will have line of sight of business demand and priorities. So you’ll be communicating these to each team, ensuring workflow lines up accordingly and project deadlines for campaigns are consistently achieved.

The marketing and campaigns capabilities are in a reasonably mature state, but there’s opportunity with evangelism to some internal teams, specifically around the digitalisation of campaigns. So you’ll be helping to move these other teams forward and getting them excited and engaged with testing new channels and opportunities which could deliver them better results.

Overall, this is a solid opportunity with a really good employer brand. One which has a number of key opportunities to step-change what they do and how they do it. You’ll have the support of a line manager who is totally behind achieving this, and will help pave your way to making good things happen.

If you want a remit which will give you lots of visibility. Opportunities to learn new things and to grow in a firm with a reputation for offering fantastic tenure, stability and progression. You’d found it.

Couple it with a friendly line manager who has warm and bubbly personality and you’re onto a winner with this one.
