Lead Data Scientist

To 5 Global Creative Communications Agency, working with international clients across FMCG, Retail, Telco, Tech, Utilities and many more industries.

ROLE   

This role sits in the Analytics Function of a major agency, focusing on projects around online image recognition, writing algorithms which understand how customers react to those images, and in turn delivering content which targets those individuals. Developing analytical tools and products through deep learning around customer behaviour and content marketing. 

The team already has two junior Data Scientists, as well as a more senior level individual who has already created the business need for Data Science with existing clients and now it's about growing that solution and developing the analytical products. 

So we are looking for doers and thinkers who are interested in working for one of the world's largest marketing creative agencies, helping famous brands to leverage cutting edge data science techniques in order to develop highly targeted digital content and advanced customer understanding. 

LOCATION – West London

SALARY - £70k - £75k depending on experience, plus excellent benefits

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED/RESPONSIBILITES

• Educated to degree level in a numerate subject; Machine Learning, Computer Science, Maths & Stats, Psychology, Engineering etc.
• Experience working in a similar predictive analytics / modelling or data science role employing machine learning and advanced analytical techniques
• Experience in munging large amounts of raw data; preparing, cleansing and processing
• Exposure to large amounts of multichannel data; customer, social, search, attitudinal, transactional
• Experience with NLP / Text Mining / Sentiment Analysis
• Strong programming skills using EITHER R or Python as well as SQL
• Excellent communication skills in order to liaise with senior level stakeholders
