Lead Developer, Google Cloud Platform 
£75,000 - £90,000 p/a

This is a great opportunity to join a global media and communications agency.
 
Reporting into the Head of Data & Technology you will develop, oversee and support the technical GCP infrastructure within the Team. Longer term to integrate and work with wider network tools and platform with the purpose of creating efficiencies for data driven marketing. You'll be part of the team that was recently awarded Agency Team of the Year.
 
Who are we looking for?
 
We're looking for a smart confident GCP/Google Cloud Platform practitioner that will be responsible for the technical management of data being passed through from data source to end users, including event level data. Ownership and management of Cloud infrastructure and its performance. You'll need to deliver high quality data at scale to the end user. GCP expertise is required, working with large complex datasets. You must also be comfortable working with senior clients and managing stakeholders. 
 
Technical Knowledge:
 
Ability to understand, design and implement cloud solutions that are scalable for analytics
Mar-tech background - understanding platforms such as DSPs or Adservers 
 
Essential:
Hands on SQL, NodeJs, Python (Pandas) & Angular / TypeScript
GCP expertise (Bigquery, CloudFunctions, SQL, Cloud Storage, API Gateway), Firebase and Git (CICD)
Comfortable developing and consuming REST APIs.
 
Desirable:
Python (PySPark)
GCP knowledge of AppEngine, Composer, DataProc.
Comfortable with bash commands and Linux configurations (users, permissions, Nginx)
