Lead Generator

Do you have strong sales and/or customer service experience coupled with a science background and understanding of the drug development process?

If so, we have the ideal opportunity to help this become a reality.

A global CRO and pharmaceutical services company is seeking a commercially savvy Lead Generator to join their global Business Development team.

Due to considerable and sustained growth within the consulting business unit, this newly created position has been established to provide the necessary pipeline of sales leads to sustain and support the continuing growth.

Working within the best performing division, you will be working within a high performing team to further grow the market share of a broad range of services and products to the wider pharmaceutical and biotech industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will be supporting an international business development team, by being responsible for generating a pipeline of sales leads from a defined list of target companies and assets.
  • Against the pre-agreed target list, you will employ a segmented approach, to reach out to target individuals directly via, phone, email and social media (LinkedIn).
  • You will design and employ a creative approach to driving new sales leads and ultimately reaching targets quicker.
  • Making contact directly with target organisations and decision makers, you will generate introductory meetings between the target and business development team. You will also support the business development team at conferences.
  • In addition to generating sales leads, you will also provide input into the qualification of new target assets/organisations.
  • Throughout, you will work cross functionally with Business Intelligence and Business Planning to report and track lead generation.

Role Requirements:

  • You will be a highly driven and commercially astute individual
  • You will have a science or pharma industry background
  • Strong lead generating experience
  • A passion for the pharma, biotech, healthcare or CRO industries
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and networking abilities
