Lead Web Analyst

LOCATION –                       Office: Tunbridge Wells, Kent - will be home based likely until the end of 2020
SALARY –                             £40k – £45k plus excellent benefits

Interested in taking your digital analytics career to the next level and a move into managing a small team?

Working as part of a large, stablished in-house marketing function you will take a lead on the delivery of actionable insights, through the use of web analytics techniques, within what is an omnichannel retail environment.

This international e-commerce luxury retailer is looking to continue growing its understanding of consumer behaviour through the analysis of digital data, to inform both development of its digital roadmap, performance and journey improvements of the sites, reduce basket abandon rates and also support building on its loyalty and retention programme.

They already have an established reporting capability within the team. The value you will bring is not only in terms of leadership of an existing team of 2 digital analysts. But in helping to identify and structure a more business partnering mentality, helping to identify and resolve business challenges through actionable insight.

You’ll end up having very close working relationships with other team members including BI Analysts to develop insightful reporting process as well as establish opportunities for automation.

In addition, you will likely be the kind of person who likes to keep up to speed on the latest thinking and developments in how the digital economy is moving, as well as the tools and technologies which will keep you and the business in the right place to take full advantage of them.

Experience required:

  • Educated to degree level, ideally in a numerate subject
  • Experience using Google Analytics for digital analysis and reporting is ESSENTIAL
  • The ability to presenting insightful findings around customer behaviour and marketing activity in an engaging and thought provoking way
  • Strong communication skills, the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders and peers
  • Strong preference for e-commerce and retail experience
  • Ideally experience in managing others

Hiring process:

There will be no ‘in person’ meeting. As such they’ve re-engineered their interview process to give you as informed a decision as possible and a chance to get to know people.

This will be a 3 stage process:

  • Zoom call with hiring manager and divisional lead
  • Zoom call with Director
  • ‘Test the waters’ – A couple of hours work experience to get to know them and some of the people you might be working with
