Role: Marketing Manager
Location
: London - 1 day a week
Salary: £40,000 to £50,000 (based on experience) plus benefits.

Who would you rather learn business from an economics professor 20+ years experience in education, or spend a few hours with Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos?

For a job with the most generic job title in the marketing world, you’ve probably just stumbled across one of the coolest ones going.

This is a VC backed start-up who are releasing a new product every month, centred around what can only be described as a really unique offering. A digital learning platform with a difference.

You will be responsible for marketing it to both the UK and US markets, and will hold a suitably broad remit. Looking to deliver against a multi-channel marketing plan which encompasses eCRM, PR, performance, SEO, CRO, social influencers and lots more.

The reason why?

The team is quite lean because it’s so early in their journey, and it’s a digital platform business looking to make a massive mark in a market with significant growth potential.

They’re eyeing up a £100m valuation in just a couple of years, and anticipating you’re going to be the kind of person with real drive, determination and ambition which will see you rise to a head of marketing over that time too.

Despite just launching, they’ve got some amazing talent lined up. People who are recognised celebrity experts in their various fields. Providing a digital subscriptions service to consumers and a chance to get a unique insight to what it really takes to become outstanding and incredibly successful in a particular field – be it sport, music, business, literature, etc.

This is all backed and underpinned by an iconic brand as part of a JV partnership, and with you driving their marketing engine, has an incredibly bright future ahead of it.

Key Experience Necessary

  • Ideally, you’ve had experience in a start-up/scale-up environment before, working for a digital first business
  • Have a broad marketing pedigree which covers multiple disciplines
  • Comfortable with a role which has a lot of hands-on delivery to it
  • Analytical by nature, really good on getting on top of performance metrics and optimising channels
  • Able to demonstrate your impact and results
  • Growth hacking mindset. Not afraid to try new things, learn and refine
  • Like a role with pace behind it, and lots of opportunity to have an impact

Must be able to live and work in the UK unrestricted.
