Sustainability!

It’s the key business word of this generation.

Over the last 3 years we’ve seen and experienced more brands talking about looking to achieve carbon neutral status than ever before.

We’re experiencing wholesale changes within many markets. One example is the automotive industry with recycled plastics being used in premium vehicles for dashboards and man-made leather. As well as manufacturers like Toyota launching some 70 EV’s in the coming couple of years.

That’s what makes this opportunity exciting!

Not only is this the opportunity to join a mission driven business. One whose sole interest is towards brands which have that kind of ‘change the world for better’ mission too.

Your part to play in all this is to help that business grow its client roster of like minded brands. Marketing the company’s creative strategy and marketing services to help those brands push their message to market and achieve cut through with the desired audience.

How you’ll do this is through both lead generation marketing campaigns across on and offline channels. Growing brand recognition for the company’s range of service offerings to the right audiences. Apply a kind of ABM strategy to your marketing efforts.

In addition, you’ll be getting in front of those companies. Pitching the services first hand, as well as handling RFP’s for big tenders.

You’ll also be working with the rest of the agency team to bring together evidence in the form of case studies, as well as creating content and thought leadership pieces which can be shared online and through email campaigns.

In addition will be some PR work, engaging with key media outlets where appropriate to raise the profile of the agency. Sharing newsworthy stories and interest features which will also benefit the agency by getting brand exposure to key target audiences.

In the New Year there will also be the ability to step up and take ownership of the marketing strategy for a period, helping to bridge an extended period of planned leave for the Marketing Director. Giving you exposure to working directly with the Founder and making the big decisions.

What’s also really nice about this opportunity is the working location. As their offices are surrounded by fields with beautiful views of the Kent countryside. But it does unfortunately mean you need to drive to get there.

What’s going to help you land this role?

  • Got to have experience of marketing an agency and its services to client prospects, and a track record of winning business
  • You understand lead generation marketing techniques and how to best implement them
  • A real ‘can do’ attitude, and willing to get involved and make things happen
  • You get the BD side of this kind of role and how to deliver both warm and cold sales and lead gen strategies
  • You know your way around an RFP and how to complete them
  • You have some understanding of what ABM is and how to implement it (although they don’t strictly do ABM, lots of the techniques are transferable)
