Job-  Medical Affairs Professional - Gynaecological Cancer

Location - Home based with occasional travel to Thames Valley offices.

Remuneration package– generous and in line with experience

Reporting to out of country CMO

Overview

Do you want to make a move where you’ll be recognised and valued as the sole medical affairs professional covering the UK?

Are you a well established medical affairs professional with a defined background in female / gynaecological cancer?

Do you love diversity, autonomy and authority in your job?

If you can answer yes to all three then we really ought to speak.

The company and the team

We’re working with a client who value and encourage autonomy, pro active contribution and pragmatism.

Your desire to be self directed will be well met here as they’ve got a lot of ground to cover and limited resources. We’re looking for someone with great prioritising skills who can apply themselves in the most impactful way possible.  It’s really important to qualify that this is not a company that will over-work you though.  They’re decent people with a great attitude towards their colleagues. a

This company’s medical team is small and perfectly formed with two existing people including the CMO and a Medical Director.  Neither are in the UK and neither have hands on experience of working in a UK country medical role.  You’d therefore be relied on to know all about the NHS, the MHRA and the ABPI code of conduct as these pertain to medical affairs activity.

They’re also highly entrepreneurial and growing so they can absolutely offer development opportunities to people both in terms of novel tasks and responsibilities and therapy areas that may be covered in the future.

You

You’ll have a solid  background in UK medical affairs and have covered either cervical or ovarian cancer products.  Perhaps you have a gynaecological cancer background in a clinical or academic context that you haven’t yet drawn on in your industry medical affairs roles and want to combine the two.

You’ll also be actively interested in working for a small company where you’d be doing everything from contributing to European medical strategies to licking the back of stamps for letters going to KOLs.  Do you still have to lick stamps?  Do people still send letters?  Either way you get the point…

So.

If you’re an experienced UK medical affairs professional.  If you’d consider yourself expert in ovarian and / or cervical cancer and if you want to hear more about this opportunity get in touch.  It’d be really great to tell you all about this genuinely fantastic company and the wonderful people that work there.
