Job: Medical Science Liaison - Neonatology.

Salary: £50-£58,000 + Bonus and car allowance ( Higher salary may be considered for experienced professionals)

Location: Fully remote (anywhere in the UK)

Who are you?

Compassionate, eager to learn, patient-centric, dedicated, and methodically minded.

If you identify with these characteristics, I urge you to read on and consider this opportunity.

What’s in it for you?

I’ve worked with this company for the entirety of my recruitment career.
I’ve had the pleasure of bringing many wonderful people into the business, and the satisfaction of hearing how welcome they were made to feel and how much they love being there.
These are the truths I’ve learned in the years we’ve worked together:

  • This is a place you go to grow. They are renowned for training and consistent dedication to employee progression.
  • They are driven by a code of ethics; that runs deep through the business from new joiners to the company founders.
  • You’ll be welcomed in, have a safe space to be yourself, and take on new challenges.

What is the role?

It’s in the name:  A field-based MSL working within the Neonatal space.

The nuance to this one is you’re looking after a well-established product, there is no need to fight for market share.

Instead, your focus will be filling data gaps to support the progression of the product, to do right by the patients and their families.

This is a compassionate role at its very core.

What do you need to be considered?

Though a range of experience will be considered there are some requirements with zero flexibility.
If you do not at least have the following you will not be considered for the role.

  • Medical degree, pharmacy degree, or higher science degree (i.e. MSc, PhD)
  • An understanding of the ABPI Code, its importance, and application.
  • Knowledge of UK governing bodies, and cross-functional application (with specific regards to GCP and Pharmacovigilance.
  • Desire, willingness, and ability to work in a field-based role, where you will be expected to travel both inside and outside of the UK.
  • An unrestricted right to live and work in the UK (unfortunately my client is not licensed to provide Visa sponsorship – even if funding is already taken care of)

To aspirant MSLs:

You’ll have done your research, networked, know about the ABPI code, looked into joining the MSLA (if you haven’t already), and be able to give a good narrative about why you’re committed to becoming an MSL.
