If you're a consultative, approachable and successful Key Account Manager and you'd like to know more about a fast-paced Oncology focused life sciences sales position then I'd love to talk to you about  a great opportunity I'm handling!

We're supporting a global life sciences business with a fantastic Key Account Specialist position. You'd be joining a team of 5, making you number 6, with a supportive manager and great channel of progression ahead of you.

Specialising in the Oncology would be preferred for this position, by anyone with experience in speciality medicines can be considered. You'll be an engaging, outgoing and innovative individual who isn't afraid to share your ideas and suggestions. This position would be best suited to someone who has a consultative approach to their account management and appreciates the need for strong relationships, not hard and fast sales. 

Working across the main key towns and counties in the North West of England (Birmingham, Staffordshire, Derby, Preston etc.) you would ideally have a strong portfolio of contacts in the Hospitals and Secondary care units. This isn't essential, but would be beneficial. There will be a 60/40 split of working from home and being in the field (when Covid permits!) giving you a great balance of travelling to your clients for personal meetings as well as being able to have virtual meetings, taking a little stress off of tight driving schedules. 

The organisation we're supporting would prefer someone to be based close to or in the middle of this territory to help limit your driving/travelling requirements as this can become incredibly tiring and hectic when travelling too far. 

There is a great salary on offer of ~£55,000, with a company car allowance of £515/month and other company benefits like Private Healthcare, a good Work place Pension and a Well Being allowance of £300/year for you to spend on something to improve your well-being - whether that is a pair of new running trainers, a bike to get out and about or perhaps some massages to help you take some time out! 

This role would be perfect for someone who is consultative, approachable and understands the nuances of building long lasting relationships with consistent customers.
