Role: Paid Social Manager

Location: London - 3 days a week in office.

Salary: £30k - £45k plus profit share bonus (typically 5k dependant on business results) and benefits

I’m working with a Media agency looking to appoint a Paid Social Manager to their Growth Marketing team. The Media agency is a well-established player in the agency world, over the last couple of years they have developed an epic roster of clients within the sports and entertainment industry. They have built up a library of case studies providing they are the best Growth Marketers out there. This role will focus on their tier 1 clients, which cover everything from: Travel, Financial Services, Higher Education & FMCG.

All of these clients have a passion for Paid Social and want to use it to drive conversations with their customers and brand awareness.

The role is going to be focused on the strategic aspects of Paid Social, the role has a direct report which will manage the day-to-day activation on the campaigns. The clients is a big fan of Social Media and has grown via word of mouth and the Meta Platforms and they are looking to capitalise on their newfound fame with a range of high profile Paid Social & PPC campaigns. Budgets are looking at 15 million for the year and that will be split across several high-profile events.

The role is based in London and will be required to be in the office two days a week for team-related collaboration. The agency has a no-client call rule on office days, so anytime you're in the office, it will be for something team-related, not a zoom call in a new location.

Role responsibilities:

  • Be the main digital point of contact for internal and client requests and work collaboratively with client teams to respond to BAU client requests.
  • Organise and lead digital team members per client account to effectively delegate work and ensure deadlines are being met.
  • Be responsible for quality assurance of all client-facing output, as well as being responsible for ensuring SLA’s are upheld.
  • Prioritise workload for optimum output and critically engage with account processes to streamline account efficiency,
  • Work collaboratively with client and strategy teams to develop innovative digital strategies in response to client briefs.
  • Maintain strong relationships with DSPs, vendor partners, technology suppliers & publishers to stay ahead of the latest market trends and developments.
  • End-to-End management of signed-off media schedule including
  • Responsible for budget management across all live campaigns within the account.
  • Responsible for QA of all ads and in-flight optimization

The Paid Social Manager role requires the following experience: 

  • Hands-on experience in activation across Paid Social and Display platforms including: META Ads Manager & TikTok Ads (Additional Paid Social Platforms are desirable), FlashTalking (or similar ad server tech), DSP Tech (Stackadapt, DV360, Quantcast, The Trade Desk).
  • Ability to develop innovative digital strategies in response to client briefs
  • Experience working in multi-person delivery teams
  • Proven knowledge of digital campaign tools including 3rd party tracking like GA
  • Understanding of tracking pixels and custom variables used within container tags
  • Highly data-proficient with a high level of Excel and/or Google Sheets knowledge, including pivot tables, charts and formulae (Supermetrics desirable).
  • Capable of diving into data and synthesising coherent and actionable findings, and designing reports to client requirements.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with programmatic vendors, including briefing new activity and deal negotiation.
  • Self-motivated, happy taking the initiative to drive projects forward.
  • Experience motivating and leading others in the development, direction, and execution of marketing projects/campaigns.
